ABOUT THE GUY BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hello, I’m Ryan. I’m a North Wales Wedding Photographer, living near Mold, with my wife Ellen and my bouncy Cockapoo, Trixie!

Its great that you want to know a little bit more about me. So here goes!

FAQ

On average, I aim to deliver 500+ images per wedding. This is dependent on the events on the day and could vary.

Honestly, this is most people. You are not alone! My job is to make you feel relaxed and at ease. To help you with this, you can book an engagement shoot which will give you an indication of how I work before the big day.

These are a great way to get to know each other and give you an understanding of how I work on the day, especially if you’re nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera.

Most of my weddings are from prep to party. Again, this is dependent on your day and how the events unfold. If you have something happening later in the evening, let me know before hand and I will try and work around it.

I aim to deliver your wedding photos in 4-6 weeks but during busy periods, I may have a backlog. I am completely open and transparent about this and I will keep you up to date with where your images are in the queue

Each wedding gets a private portal to view and share their images. You can also purchase prints and albums through that portal. You can also download the images in high resolution if you want to have them printed elsewhere though, I don’t tie you in.

Every wedding gets a private online album which you can share with family and view your wedding photos on any device. I would always recommend downloading a copy if your photos. We also offer personalised USBs, let me know if you’re interested in these.

I like to keep the formal group photos to a minimum. Ideally less than 10. Organising and arranging formal group photos is time consuming and it takes away from me being able to capture the raw unscripted moments from your wedding.

I like to keep in touch after you have booked your wedding with me. I would also suggest following me on social media so you can see any updates I post. Nearer the date (usually a couple of weeks before), I send you a questionnaire to fill in and then we arrange a catch-up either online or in person.

Wedding days are long and I do like a hot meal on the day! I don’t need a 3 course wedding meal (I wouldn’t turn it down though) but usually the caterers will sort out a supplier meal, or I can order something from the bar (if there is one) but if you or the venue can’t provide me with food, just let me know so I can make alternate arrangements.

Fortunately, this hasn’t happened to me but you do hear horror stories. Because of this, I always bring more than one camera and multiple lenses to a wedding. You can never be too careful.
